Over a thousand people gathered at Alliance Française in Accra on Friday, 16 October 2026, for Bel-Aqua’s Healing Together Vigil 4.0, an evening combining mental health conversations with live music, comedy and community connection. Held under the theme “Every Mind Has a Story… Respond with Hope”, the fourth edition formed part of Bel-Aqua’s Take a Break initiative. It followed the Healing Together Walk on 3 October, extending the campaign’s call for people to make time for their mental well-being and support those around them. At the heart of the vigil was a message that went beyond encouraging people to speak about their struggles: the response they receive matters just as much. The campaign called for listening without judgment and approaching difficult conversations with empathy, care and hope.
