Nursing mother alarmed as doctor and pharmacist disagree over baby’s medicine

A nursing mother has raised concerns on social media after a doctor and a pharmacist openly disagreed over a medication prescribed for her six-month-old baby.   In a viral video, the mother explained that she initially took her infant to the hospital for a routine medical checkup. Following the examination, the physician issued a prescription and directed her to the hospital pharmacy. However, upon reviewing the slip, the pharmacist refused to dispense the medication, stating it was unsafe for a baby, and advised her to consult the doctor again.   When the mother returned to the physician, the doctor reportedly doubled down on the prescription and ordered her back to the pharmacy.
