A Nigerian couple, Abinye Douglas Pepplechi and his wife, Tochi, have welcomed their first child, a boy, after fifteen years of waiting. Sharing their testimony on Facebook on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, Tochi reiterated that God can always be trusted. She encouraged those who are still waiting to remain hopeful, reminding them that God sees their tears and hears your prayers. “GOD CAN BE TRUSTED! God has blessed us with the precious gift of a son! After 15 years of waiting, praying, and holding on to hope. Our hearts overflow with gratitude as we hold this beautiful answer to prayer in our arms,” she wrote. "Fifteen years of waiting, and now a lifetime of thanksgiving. What a faithful God we serve! “For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him.” — 1 Samuel 1:27. "To anyone still waiting and trusting God: may our testimony encourage your heart. He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and walks with you through every season. May He renew your strength and fill you with hope. “Please join us in thanking God for our precious son. To Him alone be all the glory.” The post "God can be trusted" - Nigerian couple celebrates as they welcome first child after 15 years of waiting appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
