MyJoyOnline · Oct 28, 2026

A 40-year-old bread seller has been found dead in her room at Tanoso in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region, after reportedly going several days without being seen by neighbours. The woman, identified only as Anita, was discovered on Wednesday morning after residents became concerned about her absence and noticed a strong foul smell coming from her room. An eyewitness, Tiwaa Lydia, who lives in the same house, said Anita was last seen on Sunday and lived alone while selling bread in the Tanoso area. She said residents became concerned when someone came looking for Anita and decided to check on her.
